The Organizing committee recommends the following hotels close to the conference venue.

Boat trip

We invite you to a social event of the conference – the boat trip along the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg.

A city built over 42 islands, St. Petersburg is surrounded by water and interlaced with a complex web of rivers that seem to bind the city together, while also marking the borders of its different districts and neighborhoods. St. Petersburg's low-rise classical architecture means that great vistas of the city are often visible from the water.

You can enjoy beautiful views of St. Petersburg and Gulf of Finland during 3 hours while travelling on motor ship.

Bus city tour

Welcome to Saint Petersburg, one of the most beautiful cities in Russia. Saint Petersburg is a rather young city, it is 316 years old. It was founded by Peter the Great as his “window on the West” and for over 200 years (from 1712 till 1917) was the capital of Russia.

During the bus city tour you will see the main street of the city – Nevsky Prospect, architectural ensembles, place of historical interests, palaces, churches, squares, monuments and many other interesting things which surely catch your eyes. During the tour there will be several photo stops at some exciting spots.

Hermitage (optional, available upon request – 25$ charge)

The Hermitage museum is one of the world-class museums. It ranks among Louvre in Paris and Prado in Madrid. Nowadays, the collection of the museum comprises more than 3 mln items.

Paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Rembrandt, Titian, Rubens, Velazquez, El Greco and many other outstanding artists are represented in the museum.

The White Nights

The White Nights are a curious phenomenon caused by St. Petersburg's geographical location. St. Petersburg is the world's most northern city with a population over 1 million, and its stands at such a high latitude that the sun does not descend below the horizon enough for the sky to grow dark. In fact night becomes curiously indistinguishable from day, so much so that the authorities never need to turn the city's streetlights on! No other major European city can rival this experience nor the atmosphere on the streets of St. Petersburg during the summer months –lively, friendly, romantic and bustling with people throughout the night as well as the day!
